Cyberstalkers are crowdsourcing danger to victims’ doorsteps with dating apps

Editors’ note: This story contains sexually explicit language. For months, Danny Cords didn’t know who was trying to ruin his life. He was recently divorced, living in Seattle. The night he settled on the terms of the split, in March 2017, he started getting random texts from strange numbers. Hundreds of messages and calls came in between midnight and 3 a.m., most of them nonsense.
