Google announces $1m pan-African fund for cyber-security innovations

Google, US’ multinational tech company, has announced the launch of a $1 million fund to support innovative ideas on online privacy and the safety of families across sub-Saharan Africa. TheCable Lifestyle had earlier reported that a group of Nigerian students will be attending the UN’s showcase in Japan after developing software that detects child predators prowling on their victims online.
