Google responds to antitrust lawsuit over Android app store

Google has responded to the antitrust suit against it filed by attorneys general from 36 states and Washington, DC targeting the tech giant’s power over Android app distribution via the Google Play Store. The complaint accuses Google of using anticompetitive tactics “to diminish and disincentivize competition in Android app distribution”, and said that developers have “no reasonable choice but to distribute their apps through the Google Play Store”.
