Update to National Cyber Security Plan needed to combat ransomware attacks: CIRA

organization that manages Canada’s .CA domains says the government needs to step in and revamp its National Cyber Security Plan if Canadians intend to combat an increase of hacking and ransomware attacks. The Communications Security Establishment, which is billed as Canada’s foreign signals intelligence agency, says it responded to 2,206 cyber security incident cases affecting the Canadian government.
